A video of
four-year-old dancer known as Heaven King, sometimes called a "mini
Beyonce," was the most viewed item of the year on YouTube, the
Google-owned service said Wednesday.
The music video featuring the girl and her dance crew performing
choreography to rapper Silento's "Watch Me" in New York was viewed more
than 116 million times, YouTube said.
The dance video was far ahead of the number two item, which was a Super
Bowl commercial for the "Clash of Clans" video game that also featured
actor Liam Neeson, viewed 83 million times.
Number three item was a "crazy plastic ball" video from YouTube personality and prankster Roman Atwood, with 56 million views.
Other top items included the "Love Has No Labels" video from Ad Council,
a Justin Bieber karaoke routine and a humorous police dashcam
"confessional" from the police in Dover, Delaware.
"2015 was kind of a big year for YouTube," the company said on its blog.
"Along with a year-long celebration of YouTube's 10th birthday, YouTube
creators and their fans introduced the planet to the latest dance
crazes, opened up discussions about diversity and inclusion, and
lip-synced in cars and onstage in front of the whole, wide world."
